Teesside University – Friday 16 March 2018

North East

Welcome to Prosperity North East Conference 2018

What sort of region do we want the North East to be outside the EU. How do we get there?

In order to mitigate Brexit challenges and make the most of its opportunities we are bringing together the region’s leaders, to work out how to answer these questions together.

This invitation-only event will include Ben Houchen, Tees Valley Combined Authority Mayor, Paul Dreschler, Chancellor of Teesside University and CBI President, and a senior government minister.

During the day we will look ahead to what the future could look like outside the European Union, and where the North East could be in 20 years, if we make smart decisions in key areas. There will be four expert-led Breakout sessions (Industrial Strategy, Infrastructure, Skills and Global Trade & Investment) which will give everyone an opportunity to contribute to the issues they care most about. Further details about the agenda will be available in due course.
